This week I got to deliver a full gallery of sweet photos from an in-home newborn session in Cincinnati, OH.

Getting to photograph different seasons with the same family is super special. Especially, when it’s seeing the dynamic change in before a new sibling is added, and after. Every season is unique in their own way, but this one is always extra special.

For this sweet family, we did maternity photos and then an in-home newborn session once baby had arrived. In-home lifestyle sessions will always be a favorite of mine to document because it truly captures families in their most comfortable environment. We could take breaks that were needed to play and feed baby. Big brother was able to show his toys and feel included. These sessions are very relaxed and family-led, and that’s why I enjoy them so much. There’s so much beauty in capturing what is, and not forcing more.
